On Riverton on Saturday the Tigers were defeated by the #3 ranked Riverton Wolverines. The Riverton Wolverines are the lone undefeated team in the state of Wyoming for boy's soccer. Riverton scored three times in the first half; the goals were in the 7th minute off of a penalty kick, in the 17th minute off of a cross and in the 40th minute off of a bad clearance by the Tiger's defence. The half time score was 3 - 0 in favor of the Wolverines. The Wolverines continued their scoring in the 47th minute with a shot to the bottom right. The Tigers finally got on the score board when Storie Ratcliff collected a ball about 30 yards out from goal, created space from his defender and dropped the ball beautifully over the outreached keepers hands. The Tiger's lone goal made the score 4 - 1 in the 48th minute. But the Wolverine's direct play and quick forwards proved to be too much for the Tigers as they scored twice more in the second half. The last two goals for Riverton came in the 52nd and 57th minute. The final tally after 80 minutes was Riverton 6 - Rock Springs 1. This drops the Varsity Tigers record to 1 - 4 - 1 and 0 - 3 - 0 in the 4A West Conference.

The earlier match of the day between the JV Tigers and the JV Wolverines was very entertaining. It saw the Wolverines score first off of a through ball in the first ten minutes of the match. The Tigers bounced back with a goal from Rayden Davis. The tie did not last for long as the Wolverines leaped ahead from a Penalty Kick. However, Jordan Rood scored before half for the Tigers to go into halftime tied at 2. The second half saw the Tigers dominate the majority of play and finally break the tie with a goal from McKade Wells. Tyler Legerski had 2 assists in the match and Kohl Stewart had the other assist. The Tigers were able to withstand all threats from the Wolverines and hold on for their first win of the season with the final tally 3 - 2. This evens the JV Tigers record as 1 - 1 - 0.
JV Man of the Match - Cody East - excellent defense and midfield play.
