On Thursday at Crossroads Park in Rock Springs the RS Tigers faced their arch rivals the GR Wolves in the second leg of the Sweetwater Cup. The Tigers were looking to avenge their earlier embarrassing defeat by upsetting the Wolves. This match was a classic rivalry match and saw the Tigers come to play for 80 minutes. However the Wolves got on the board first when the initial GR shot was saved by Gus Wagner but the deflection found a Wolves' feet and he scored in the 19th minute of play. This was the only score in the first half. The Tigers did see a couple of legitimate chances in the first 40 minutes of play including a header by Alex Arambel. The Tigers game plan seemed to be working as the heavily favored Wolves were frustrated in the 2nd half by the improved play of the Tigers.
