Both the JV and the Varsity teams left Riverton with only ties on their record. The JV team played first against Riverton. Up 1 - 0 at half the tigers had to score in the closing minutes to tie the game. Storie Ratcliff scored both goals for the young tigers. The Varsity team also played Riverton in their first game and played to a well deserved 0 - 0 tie. Shortly after the first game the varsity team played an old conference opponent, Jackson. Rock Springs took a 1 - 0 lead into the half after a 50 yard score from defender Kyle Howe off of a free kick. The defense played well but conceded a goal with about 5 minutes left to end in another tie. The following players made their first varsity start this weekend and performed well; Dane Dulaney, Wes Magagna, Cody Rall and Erik Mata. Several other players saw their first varsity action such as Matt Lehman, Charlie Barnum, Jesus Ramirez and Pat Walker.
