Tigers Drop Two in the Capitol City

On Saturday the varsity Tigers played both the Cheyenne Central Indians and the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds. In the first game the Tigers were handled by the Indians 3 to 0. They were down 1 to 0 at the half and struggled to find offense throughout the entire game. In the second full 80 minute game of the day, the Tigers fell to the T-birds 3 to 2. East got on the board first, the Tigers answered with a goal by Austin Mivshek from a free kick by Gilbert Gonzalez. East was able to get another score before the half was over and lead 2 to 1 at the break. The Tigers looked a lot better in the second game but allowed another East goal to go down 3 to 1. Ron Halstead got a hit on the ball in the closing seconds from a free kick from Kevin Gold to pull the Tigers closer at 3 to 2.
